Acer ICONIA Tab A500 Priced at $450
Acer Iconia A500, yet another Honeycomb tablet from Taiwanese based Acer. The new A500 from Acer is a 10.1 inch tablet displaying 1280×800 screen resolution. Acer Iconia A500 sports NVIDIA Tegra 250 1GHz dual-core processor and integrated GeForce™ GPU. To experience the fullest advantage it comes with Google powered Android OS v3.0 Honeycomb. Iconia A500 weighs 1.69 pounds and measures 0.52-inches thin only. There are two cameras included, one camera with 5 megapixels attached at rear-side panel and the other one is a 2 megapixel camera at front for video conferencing.
This new tab from Acer hits the North American market first at $499.99 and BestBuy started taking pre-order where the actual shipping starts on April 24.

Speaking about this smart gizmo, the device is designed for great HD entertainment. The high-resolution 1280×800 TFT WXGA display is crisp and clear, and provides an 80-degree wide viewing angle to ensure an optimal viewing experience. Also this display allows to play videos at HD 720p in a 16:10 aspect ratio and their media hub can share full 1080p Blu-ray-quality video via the built-in HDMI port with other devices. This tablet comes with an integrated 16GB internal memory, GeForce graphics and 1GB of RAM. However, the external memory can be stretchable using a MicroSD card up to 32GB.
Speaking about the connectivity, Acer Iconia Tab A500 is enabled with Bluetooth, A-GPS and 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi. The cool device is perfectly designed with dimensions 10.24(w) x 6.97(d) x 0.52(h)-inches where it is comfortable in handling and carrying. The Iconia is DLNA certified and Acer is offering video docks, keyboards, and cases for better experience.
