Sharp Announces 3D Enabled AQUOS Blu-ray Recorders

Sharp Japan introduces a AQUOS Blu-ray recorders which are 3D enabled. The company announced three recorders of different storage capacities BD-HDW80 with a 1TB HDD on board, BD-HDW75 with 500GB HDD on board and finally BD-HDW73 with 320GB HDD on board.

The recorders are compatible with Panasonic BD-RE XL rewritable Blu-rays which is latest in the market. Other than this, the devices features DLNA support, HDMI interface, Ethernet, USB port and also Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n enabled.

Sharp plans to release in Japan Market first from April 27, 2o11. The BD-HDW80 is priced at $1,290BD-HDW75 available for $1,060 and the BD-HDW73 for $940. However, there is no date announced for international release.
