The Lenovo owned smartphone maker, Motorola is all set to launch the newest device in its Moto G series. A coupled of images have shown up on the Internet doing the rounds on the Internet, which gives a clear view of the upcoming device. These images are surprisingly high resolution and reveal that the handset will come featuring a square fingerprint scanner on the front panel. This is inline with the current trend in the budget smartphone segment in India. The second image reveals the back panel of the device and we can see that the brand has undergone a design change as well. The vertical strip now houses only the Phase Detection Auto Focus sensor, camera module and LED flash. Motorola logo on the other hand sits in its own dimple just like it did in the first and second generation Moto G.
Rumours on the Internet suggest that the camera module on the Moto G 4th Generation is identical to the one that features on the LG G5, which would make it one of most powerful camera smartphone in budget segment. These images also reveal that the handset would come flaunting a unibody design with a metallic chassis. Not much is known at this point about the specifications of Moto G4 2016 or Moto G (4th Gen), but we can expect it to impress one and all.
Recently there were rumours about another variant of Moto G - Moto G4 Plus. As per rumours, the phone would host a 5.5-inch display, 16 megapixels rear camera and 16GB internal storage. Furthermore, the tentative release date of both the devices hinted in May this year. If it is true, then the Moto G Plus (or Moto G4 Plus) would be a premium variant of the Moto G4.
