Recently, Motorola (now owned by Lenovo) has launched its 4rd generation Moto G this year and now it is all set to come out with the 3rd generation of Moto E. While the Internet has already been abuzz with the speculations regarding this entry level Motorola smartphone, a leaked Wi-Fi certificate has confirmed that the handset is on its way. This certificate issued by Wi-Fi Alliance shows the name of the device as Moto E3 Power and code name as XT1706. It also reveals that the handset will be running on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and 2.4 GHz band Wi-Fi. However, the certificate does not reveal any other information about the handset.
According to the previous leaks, the 3rd generation Moto E is expected to come with a 5-inch display and will be co-branded with Lenovo just like Moto G4. Also, Lenovo has recently announced that all handsets following Moto G4 will come featuring a fingerprint scanner. Therefore, we can expect Moto E3 to rock the same fingerprint scanner on the front as found on Moto G4. Other speculated features of the handset include 8 Megapixels rear camera, 720p resolution, Quad-core MediaTek processor and 2 GB of RAM. If rumours are to believed, it would come with a price tag in the range of INR 7000, which would make it one of the most value for money offering.
