The Taiwanese handset maker, HTC, seem to be on a launch spree this year as after launching the U Play and U Ultra, it is now gearing up to launch its next handset already. Its upcoming handset, HTC U11 has now appeared on 3C, which is China CCC Certification, a mandatory product certification system. Therefore, we can be sure that the handset is already on its way to the market and it is only a matter of time. The handset has also made several appearances in the past in leaked images and benchmarking sites. We know by now, the whole specifications of the handset and how it is supposed to look like. It is being speculated that the new handset too will feature the Edge Sense, touch sensitive frame and uniform design without any physical buttons.
According to the previous leak, this handset will come running on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with HTC Sense UI running on top. The SoC unit driving the handset would be the latest Snapdragon 835 processor with 4 gigs of RAM under the hood. Front panel of the handset would be dominated by a 5.5-inch display, which will flaunt a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels viz. Quad HD. In the camera department, the handset will get a 16 Megapixels shooter on the front panel and 12 Megapixels on the rear. It is also being speculated that the handset will come with a water-resistance build quality. However, at this point everything remains just speculations and HTC is yet to confirm the handset.
