Airtel Digital TV recharge plans list has been updated to comply with the Indian government's latest guidelines that offer "freedom of choice" and "direct control" to subscribers availing content from all DTH service providers in India.
TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) has issued guidelines that are expected to come into effect from January 31, 2019. Airtel new plans for 2019 reflect these changes with customers now being able to choose individual channels or customised packages. Let's have a look at Airtel DTH channel list with prices.
Much like all other DTH service providers in India, Airtel Digital TV offers channels on an individual basis. The big GEC channels are all priced at around Rs. 19 per month. These include Star Plus, Colors, ZEE TV, and SAB TV.
Most news channels are of the FTA (Free-To-Air) kind in the revised list - however, you have to pay Re. 1 for India Today, Rs. 2 for Mirror Now, and NDTV 24X7 can be bought for Rs. 3 a month. You can check out all a-la-carte pricing plans here.
Airtel Digital TV has certain customised packs available as preset options for customer convenience. Airtel DTH base packs include My Plan 99, My Plan 219, Value Prime Kids, My Sports, My Family, New Mega, and Infinity. All of these cater to different entertainment needs.
However, like other DTH operators, Airtel Digital TV currently does not offer any broadcaster bouquets to its customers. We will update this page as and when that sort of information is made available.
All the a-la-carte packs carry a minimum monthly rental of Rs.150 (plus taxes as applicable), and cannot be clubbed with any other monthly package. For details, you can contact Airtel DTH customer number 1800-103-6065 (toll free).
All Per month (pm or / month) rentals corresponds to 30 days charging.
