Several reports in the past couple of weeks have indicated that the Lenovo-owned Motorola is planning to launch three new Moto G series smartphones in the coming weeks. The upcoming Moto G series phones are expected to be the Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, and Moto G6 Play. Ahead of the unveiling, we have already seen a number of leaked images and benchmarking scores of these devices. Now, the purported Moto G6 with the model number XT1925 has been spotted on the Chinese certification agency TENAA’s website, revealing a few specs and images.
Talking about the features first, the Moto G6’s alleged TENAA listing indicates that the phone will come with a 5.7-inch display of unknown resolution. The handset will be 154.5mm tall and sport a thickness of 8.3mm. The device is expected to be fuelled by a 3,000mAh battery, and will be coming with dual-SIM slots.
As far as the design is concerned, the images on TENAA indicate that the Moto G6 will feature a physical home button on the front, which is also expected to integrate a fingerprint sensor. The handset is expected to come with a protruding dual camera at the rear with a dual-tone LED flash. The edges on the sides of the device seem to be curved. A Moto logo will be sitting below the dual primary camera module.
According to the earlier leaks, the Moto G6 will be fuelled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor and utilise a 3,000mAh battery. The device will allegedly come with NFC connectivity apart from options like dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and GPS. The handset is said to launch at around Rs 12,000 in the Indian market.
