Asus ROG Phone 2 is the latest gaming smartphone from Asus' ROG gaming phone lineup launched in India this week. The ROG Phone 2 brings premium features including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset, up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, up to 512GB inbuilt UFS 3.0 storage, upgraded ultrasonic Air Triggers 2, stereo speakers with DTS: X Ultra support, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
As for pricing, the Asus ROG Phone 2's base variant is priced pretty affordably. The variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage comes in at just Rs 37,999, while the one with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage comes in at Rs 59,999. The top-end model comes with additional 30W ROG Charger, AeroActive Cooler, and the Aero Case.
The company has also launched certain accessories for the Asus ROG Phone 2 in India. We have the TwinView Dock priced at Rs. 19,999, Mobile Desktop station at Rs 12,999, and the ROG Kunai Gamepad at Rs 9,999. The ROG 30W charger will also be sold separately priced at Rs. 1,999.
In terms of specifications, the Asus ROG Phone 2 leaves no stones unturned. The phone features a 6.59-inch full-HD display, with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 855+ processor, coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
At the back, the ROG Phone 2 sports a dual camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel sensor with a wide-angle lens. Then, there is a 24MP selfie camera up front. There is a 6000mAh battery under the hood, with support for Quick Charge 4.0. An in-display fingerprint sensor provides the much-needed biometric security.
