They are coming to get us.
Not exactly, but you never know what the future holds. Boston Dynamics has been known to be at the forefront when it comes to robotics across the globe, releasing videos regularly around the developments in this space.
The latest video has now come to light, posted by Mashable, which shows two flagship robot variants showing off their running, jumping, and avoiding moves. Called Atlas and SpotMini, these two robots are seen briefly in the video with moves resembling humans.

It starts off with Atlas running across an open field at a pace similar to an average human. If that wasn't terrifying enough, the robot then proceeds to squat and jump over an obstacle with eerie precision.
Next, we move to SpotMini, a Boston Dynamics robot that has been programmed to navigate an entire lab anonymously, walking on empty paths and carefully avoiding obstacles like stairs, railings, and chairs.
This is just a glimpse of the sophisticated technology Boston Dynamics is testing in its secret labs. We shall have to wait a few years to see these kind of robots taking over the world, hopefully in a good way. Fingers crossed.
