The iPhone 2019 models - dubbed iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max - just dropped and reviewers and customers are happy with the overall package that all of the 3 models offer. However, as is tradition, leaks and rumours for next year's iPhone 2020 variants are already emerging online. And, most of them look pretty good.
The most recent leak around the iPhone 2020 models suggests that Apple might be looking to fit in ProMotion display panels on the upcoming variants, equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate.
To recall, the ProMotion panels were first seen on the iPad Pro in 2017. This kind of a display can adjust refresh rate automatically between 60Hz and 120Hz, depending on the task at hand. This process allows for efficient battery management by avoiding locking the phone's display at a higher refresh rate. This news comes to us via Digitimes.
Other than a ProMotion display, the iPhone 2020 variants are rumoured to sport an iPhone 4-like frame design with a flat side chassis. In addition to that, it will sport a refreshed design that could translate into a smaller notch that fits the selfie camera and other front-facing sensors. The phone is also expected to add a 3D ToF camera in its rear camera module.
