Buyer's Guide

Before buying a gaming laptop, be absolutely sure that portability is your top priority. If it isn’t, you’re always better off with a gaming PC which can be more powerful and cheaper to build. Go for a gaming laptop only you need immense amounts of power packed into a portable form-factor.

If you do buy one, be prepared for your backpack to get a lot heavier than usual. These machines are crammed with top-end hardware, and cannot possibly be as light as regular laptops. Not to mention, some of these laptops also come with incredible heavy power bricks.

The display plays a big part in offering the right gaming experience you desire. Having a larger screen is always a plus. If you’re not inclined towards 4K monitors, make sure you at least go for 1080p displays.
