HTC has been on a downhill slide since a while now when it comes to its flagships and Desire series of handsets. However, this year, Taiwanese handset maker seem to have gotten back its roll with HTC 10 and has been launching various variants of the handset this year. The latest to join the lineup is the Desire 10 Pro, which is an improved variant of the Desire 10. Here is a brief overview of the handset for those who might be interested in this.
20-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus: HTC has been marketing the handset as the one with better camera and sound system. The rear panel of this handset stands witness to this with a powerful 20 MP camera, that comes accompanied with laser autofocus and dual tone LED flash.
Powerful front camera: The camera prowess of the device does not stop at the rear panel only since it comes with a good front snapper as well. The front camera module on this device is a 13 MP unit, which can capture some really good selfies.
BoomSound stereo speakers: This is the second highlight of the device according to the brand and will appeal to the music and multimedia lovers. The BoomSound Stereo speakers were removed from the lineup for a while but are now bought back.
Corning Gorilla Glass: Another pros of this handset is the display, which measures at 5.5-inch and offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The display has been protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass, which protects it from scratches and shatters.
MediaTek processor: The only drawback of the handset is the MediaTek processor under the hood, which is a pretty decent unit. However, it is bit pale when compared to the Snapdragon counterpart. Therefore, when you have Snapdragon devices available at the same price, it makes no sense to opt for MediaTek handsets.
