The Taiwanese handset maker, HTC is all set to take covers of it new flagship called HTC U11 and from the looks of it, the handset is all set to slay competition. With this handset, the brand is bringing forth a new design and innovation in the handset industry. HTC is all set to change the way we have been using the smartphone and the way they look, forever. Here is a brief overview of the handset for thos who have been waiting for this handset.
Edge Sense: This is the highlight of the handset, that is expected to change the way we have been operating our smartphones. HTC has got rid of physical buttons on the handset and instead placed sensors on the lower side edges of the device. All you have to do is to squeeze the lower edges of the device and it will bring up a menu of actions. As a result, the whole handset is one streamlined slab without any break in the flow.
Snapdragon 835: Since the handset is the new age flagship device, pitted against the likes of Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6, it is only natural for it to have the cutting edge features. The handset maker has equipped the new handset the latest Snapdragon 835 processor, which is the newest and fastest in the market now. This means that when it comes to the performance HTC U11 is right in the leagues of other flagships launched this year.
Brilliant cameras: This year around, the handset maker is retreating back to its Ultrapixel technology for the rear camera. However, this time it is not the disappointing 4 Ultrapixels camera we saw before, but new and improved 12 Ultrapixel 3 camera, which is expected to be the best in class as and when it comes.
IP57-certified Water Resistant: The lack of physical breaks in the design allowed the handset maker to make the handset water-resistant. This handset comes with IP57 rating, which makes it immune to accidental splashes and dust.
The button-less might take getting used to: Since, we are used to buttons to power off or turn on the device and adjust the volume, HTC U11 might take some getting used to. The squeeze method will take some practice and has a bit of learning curve to it.
