The Chinese handset maker Huawei has some of the best in the industry under its belt when it comes to good looking and performing smartphones. Huawei launched an online brand called Honor and has not looked back since. Today, its flagship devices are the part of the same lineup and one of the most sought after in terms of value for money. Honor 8 Lite is the latest device with a mid-range price tag to join the lineup. The device is yet to be launched in the country but in case you have got your eyes on this one, here is a brief overview for you.
2.5D curved glass protection: Huawei Honor 8 Lite comes with a good 5.2-inch display boasting of a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels on the front. The handset maker has protected the display of the handset with a layer of 2.5D glass, which not only protects the display but also feels smooth to hold.
Android Nougat out of the box: Even though Android Nougat has already been released to the public in 2016, there are not many new devices that come with the same. Leaving aside handful of high-end smartphones, there are very few smartphones that has the latest update. However, with Honor 8 Lite, Huawei would be the first brand to bring it to the mid-range segment of smartphones.
Good front camera with wide angle lens: Huawei has equipped this handset with a front camera that has an 8 Megapixels sensor. While the camera in itself is pretty decent, Huawei has improved it with a wide angle lens, that can capture up to 77 degree of landscape.
Hybrid SIM slot: This is the most common grievance that many have with their smartphones. If you are dual SIM user, who also has a lot of data on a microSD card, you will find it hard to use either. This has been a big deal breaker for many smartphone users in recent time.
