The Chinese handset maker, Lenovo is one of the more trusted brand among the crop of Chinese brands in India. One of the reasons is that the brand has been around for a while now and has already gained a decent goodwill in the market. Off late, the brand has been getting into the budget segment since it is the most profitable segment. The P series of handset is the attempt by the brand to tap the mid-range market in India. The brand has now launched a new device called Lenovo P2 in the Indian handset market, which looks decent but has not been price right. Here is a brief overview of the handset for those who might be interested in it.
Quick Charging: Lenovo has equipped this handset with a massive 5100 mAh battery, which is enough to last a day or two easy with a full charge and moderate usage. Moreover, bigger battery has a common issue of charging late due to massive capacity. However, that is not the case with Lenovo P2 as it comes equipped with Quick Charging as well.
Reverse Charging for other devices: Not only does the handset holds enough power to hold its own for two days but can also support other smartphones. Lenovo has designed the new handset in such a manner that it can also charge other handsets and devices conveniently.
AMOLED Display: Any smartphone worth its salt comes with a display that makes using it a delight. The Lenovo P2 comes with a large 5.5-inch display that has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, which makes for a good viewing experience on the handset. Moreover, AMOLED display on the handset is known for its battery saving nature and accurate color reproduction.
Not value for money: While the handset is pretty impressive, Lenovo has failed to price it right for the Indian market. There are better smartphones at this price in Indian market, that are much better and offer better value for money.
