The Chinese handset maker, Lenovo has finally launched one of its anticipated devices called Z2 Plus and we could not be more amazed. Its Z series of handsets have been received very well around the world owing to their vanilla Android and good specifications. Z2 Plus comes with an improved spec sheet over its predecessor. Here is a brief overview of the handset for those who are looking to buy this device.
U-Health: This feature will appeal to fitness freak smartphone users as it eliminates the need for a separate gadget to track your health. U-Health allows users to track steps, distance travelled, calories and also alert when user is idle for longer duration.
U-Touch Button: The handset maker has equipped the device with a fingerprint scanner on the front panel. However, the scanner is not just limited to unlocking the device and comes with some nifty features. User can go back with a single touch, access notification center with long touch, double press to switch app, swipe to access recent apps, single press for home and long press to launch Google Now. This is quite convenient and one of its kind.
Self Learning Fingerprint Scanner: Z2 Plus comes with the customary fingerprint scanner imbibed in the front physical home button. However, the scanner comes with a cutting edge technology that lets it learn and recognise fingerprints with cuts, skin growth and other such aberrations occurring over time, which is pretty neat.
Glass and Fiber body: his handset is quite unique owing to its make and lightweight build quality, which makes it a premium feeling handset. The smartphone has unique fiber glass body, which results in light profile and also does not interfere with the antenna and other receptions.
Limited Storage: While this handset comes with an internal storage of 64 GB, there is no expandable storage in the device. This might be tricky for those who tend to fill up their handsets pretty fast and need to have more storage space.

At its starting price of Rs 17,999 for the 3GB RAM 32GB option, the Lenovo Z2 Plus is possibly the best budget flagship you can buy. Our 4GB 64GB unit is priced at Rs 19,999, which is still more affordable than the Xiaomi Mi 5 (review), which costs Rs 22,999. A Snapdragon 820 SoC at this price point is pretty much a steal deal, but that said, don’t expect the same performance you’d get on a device like the OnePlus 3 (review), for instance. The Z2 Plus has its flaws too &nda ...
