We have been past the era where smartphones from brands like Samsung and Apple were considered to be the epitome. These days if the major league brands come up with a top notch device, there are Chinese handset makers offering similar handsets at half the price. One such brand is LeTV (Leeco), which has broken all barrier and has offered a solid smartphone Le 1S with high end features in budget segment. The follow up device, Le Max was also a huge success as it offered almost everything that devices like iPHone 6S or Galaxy S7 is offering and at just a fraction of the cost. Therefore, it is no surprise that the brand has taken off quite well in Indian handset market. Now, it is gearing up to launch the successor to Le Max, which is slated to topple the competition. Here is a brief overview of Le Max 2 for our readers who might be interested in the handset.
Continual Digital Lossless Audio: This smartphone is the first to come with CDLA technology that is specific only to Type-C USB port. LeEco Le Max 2 gets rid of the 3.5 MM audio jack in favor of the Type-C earphones. What this means is that the audio quality in this handset is super clear and loud, much to the delight of music lovers.
Mirror finish fingerprint scanner: The first ever handset from the brand, Le 1S came with one of a kind mirror finish fingerprint scanner on its rear panel. LeEco has retained the same fingerprint scanner on the rear panel of Le Max 2. However, the handset maker claims that the new device boasts of an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, which can regonise fingerprints in an instant.
Quick Charge: This handset has been equipped with USB Type-C connector, which comes with additional features of its own. One of these features happen to be Quick Charging, which coupled with USB Type-C, can charge up your device from zero to hundred in less than an hour.
Heating issue: LeTV Le 1S was a brilliant device, however, it was plagued with overheating, which turned away many potential buyers. While, the handset is powered by a Snapdragon 820, we can still expect it to heat up owing to the all metal build of the handset.
