The Chinese handset maker, Oppo has finally earned a reputation of being manufacturer of powerful camera smartphones. Its A and F series of handsets are all known for their impressive cameras and specifications as well. The brand is now expanding its lineup in country and launching more and more new smartphones in Indian market. Its latest launch is the Oppo A57, which has been designed for those who love to click selfies more than regular pictures. Here is a brief overview of the handset for those who want a device that performs like a champ when it comes to front camera.
16 Megapixels front camera: The handset comes with a powerful 16 megapixels snapper on the front panel, which is the highlight of the whole package. The camera has been equipped with Beautify 4.0 mode, which enhances the selfies and make them look like professional portraits. Other features of the camera include palm shutter mode and Bokeh effect that will appeal to the photography lovers.
Impressive battery life: The major pro with any smartphone is always a massive battery size. Oppo has equipped this handset with a 2900 mAh battery, which can last atleast a day, easy if you use it moderately.
Gorilla Glass 4: Another impressive feature of the handset is the Corning Gorilla Glass layer atop the 5.2-inch display. The most damage-prone part of any smartphone is the display and it is mandatory to have some sort of protection for it. Oppo has taken care of it with the scratch and shatter-resistant Gorilla Glass 4.
Support for Gloved and Wet Touch Input: This probably the best feature that a smartphone can have is to be able to operate it under any condition. Most displays do not respond to touches when you are wearing gloves or your hands are wet. However, that is not case with Oppo A57 as it can register gloved and wet touches as well due to improved touch sensitivity.
Snapdragon 435 Processor: When you are buying a device that costs as high as INR 15,000, you are looking for a device with decent performance that is better or at par with handsets in the market. However, this device comes with Snapdragon 435 processor, which is now standard on smartphones under INR 10,000. This would be a deal breaker for many users.
