Panasonic is trying to go all out to tap the budget segment in the Indian handset market and has been making some innovative changed to its handsets. The brand has now launched a couple of new handset with something that is on the lines of Google Assistant. Moreover, these new handsets have been placed in the budget segment and will appeal to price conscious buyers of India. Panasonic Eluga Ray Max is the cheapest of the lot and here is a brief overview of the same.
Arbo AI: This is the only highlight of the handset that the brand is emphasising upon. According to the brand, Arbo AI is a self-learning technology that analyses the user behaviour and suggests tasks accordingly. If it is as good as the brand claims it to be, it could give Google Assistant a run for its money.
2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3: The front panel of this handset has been equipped with a massive 5.5-inch display for the viewing pleasure of its users. Panasonic has protected the display of the handset with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which has 2.5D curved edges for a smooth in-hand experience.
Powerful battery: The rear panel of the handste is home to a powerful 3000 mAh battery, which makes for a powerhouse. This handset can easily last a day, if you are not a heavy user. However, the only con of this device is that it is missing the quick charging, which means it takes a while to charge the handset to full.
Front flash: There is a 5 Megapixels snapper on the front panel of this device and as it goes, it is not as impressive. However, the device is capable of capturing pretty good selfies since it comes with a front flash as well.
Missing NFC and Infrared: This handset is missing the NFC and is not quite usable when it comes to features like Google Pay and the likes. Moreover, it also does not have the Infrared blaster, which means that there is no universal remote as well.
