The South Korean handset maker, Samsung has been seriously revamping its mid range offerings under its A series of smartphones. It has already launched the revamped versions of its Galaxy A5, A7 and A8 smartphones. Now, the brand is all set to launch a new handset called Galaxy A9 Pro, which bring high end features to mid range. While not much is known about the device, it has already been approved and certified. Here is a brief overview of the handset for those who are looking to buy it for themselves.
Corning Gorilla Glass 4: This handset comes with a superior display that has been protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 4. What this means is that the display is scratch and shatter resistant, which is a huge plus.
Massive battery with Quick Charging: This is one of the fewest Samsung handsets that comes with a massive 5000 mAh battery that can easily last 2 days. The handset also comes with Quick Charging facility. Which can charge the handset fully in a very short span of time.
Glass and metal design: It seems that the South Korean handset maker is slowly integrating the premium glass and metal design to all of its handsets. Galaxy A9 Pro too comes with glass front and back on a metal chassis, which feels pretty premium in hand.
Super AMOLED display: The 6-inch Super AMOLED display on Galaxy A9 Pro is a thing of beauty as Samsung claims it can reproduce colors 100%. Moreover, the display panel is also happens to be a lot less power hungry then conventional display.
Glass Body is fingerprint magnet: While we certainly approve of the premium factor that the design of the handset brings to the table, there is one drawback to it. The sheen and gloss on the body of this handset attracts a lot of fingerprints and smudges, which ruins the look of the device.
