Samsung is that one handset manufacturer that has been a pioneer in the smartphone whether be it a game changing smartphone launch or creating a new smartphone segment. In the past, the South Korean handset maker was not too keen on manufacturing budget segment smartphones and focused more upon mid-range to high end devices. However, Samsung has been changing the tide lately and has released a number of budget friendly smartphones under its J series. Samsung has now launched a revamped Galaxy J3 (2016).
S Bike Mode: The highlight of this handset is the newly introduced S Bike Mode feature that will appeal to budget buyers, who are usually a two wheeler rider. This mode facilitates auto disconnecting of calls while riding with a greeting that can be set in 14 regional languages. Also, the user can set when to let in a call so that important calls are not missed.
Faux Learther back panel: Once Samsung switched to glass and metal design, its signature faux leather panel was left behind. Now, the South Korean handset maker is bringing back the panel in its budget devices starting from Galaxy j3 (2016). Owing to the faux leather finish on the rear panel, Galaxy J3 (2016) feels quite premium in hand.
No display glass protection: This is one of the major drawback with Galaxy J3 (2016) as there is nothing protecting the display of the handset. So if you drop the device onto a hard surface, be prepared to kiss the display goodbye.
Low available space to user: This smartphone comes with 8 GB of internal memory out of the box, out of which only around 4 GB is available to end user. Be prepared to run out of storage space after a while on your device.
