Samsung has been quite serious about the budget segment smartphone market in India and has been launching new devices left, right and center in India. However, the J series of smartphones have been particularly successful with Indian buyers. The handset maker has release the revamped variant of its J series handsets recently and is now launching beefed up variants of the budget handset, Galaxy J2. The South Korean handset maker has now launched the Galaxy J2 Pro in India, which offers great improvement over the original Galaxy J2. Here is a brief overview of the handset for those looking for a good budget smartphone.
Turbo Speed Technology: This technology has been developed by the South Korean handset maker to improve the performance of the handset. Since budget smartphones tend to lag when multitasking, Turbo Speed streamlines all tasks for reduced lag.
Smart Glow: In this budget smartphone, Samsung has included a new feature called Smart Glow, which is pretty handy. Smart Glow operates through an opaque ring around the camera module. Which is used for notifications. Users can color code their contacts and can know at a glance who has called or texted. This feature is pretty useful for many.
Ultra Data Saving Mode: This is the proprietary technology of Samsung that has been designed to save data charges while browsing web. It compresses the incoming and outgoing data traffic, which not only improves the speed but also reduces the data consumption.
Plastic build may lose sheen over time: Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro comes with the same plastic build, which Samsung was infamous for. If it is not taken care of properly, the sheen on the plastic tends to wear off and the whole aesthetics is ruined.
