Five killer features of the newly launched Nokia 7 Plus

A month after HMD Global first unveiled the Nokia 7 Plus at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018, the mid-range smartphone has finally launched in India. A powerhouse budget phone that can give a tough competition to several models by the likes of Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi and even Samsung, Nokia 7 Plus was unveiled for the Indian market at an event held in New Delhi today. If you've been looking for a powerful and reliable phone that will not cost you a bomb, Nokia 7 Plus might be your best bet! Here are five of the best features of the Nokia 7 Plus:

The stellar camera with ZEISS lens

Nokia and Carl Zeiss have had a long association, back from the days when camera phones in itself were considered premium. The optical system company has once again tied up with its exclusive cellphone partner for the Nokia 7 Plus. The phone boasts of 12 MP (f/1.75) and 13 MP (f/2.6) sensors with ZEISS optics at the rear with a 2x optical zoom. Nokia has also added the Professional mode to its camera that will let smartphone photographers click images suiting their preferences.

Crystal clear selfies

Complimenting the powerful dual rear camera setup, Nokia 7 Plus also sports an equally impressive 16MP front camera that again comes with Zeiss optics. The front shooter promises great low-light performance and takes picture-perfect selfies, day or night.

Solid build

One of the most striking features of the Nokia 7 Plus actually happens to be the way the phone actually looks! Machined from a solid block of 6000 series aluminium, the phone, much like what Nokia is usually associated with, is built to last. However, what sets apart is that the phone looks gorgeous—with its subtle, fine Diamond-cut and ceramic-feel coating. Nokia 7 Plus comes in two colour variants, black with copper and white with copper.

Advanced sound recording

The most striking feature in the audio department is that the phone has three microphones with Nokia OZO Audio that will result in crystal clear audio recordings. Nokia has paid special attention to the quality of sound when it comes to the 7 Plus. While Apple seems to have ditched the classic 3.5mm audio jack, Nokia still retains it, even though it offers wireless earphones in the box.

A Sharp LCD Display

Sporting a 6" IPS LCD full HD+, Nokia 7 Plus' display, apart from looking pretty, offers sharp colors. The phone offers easy, one-tap spilt screen feature that allows users to multitask with great efficiency. In addition, the Nokia 7 Plus comes with an aspect ratio of 18:9 with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.

Nokia's return to the smartphone world has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride in itself and with the Nokia 7 Plus finally coming to India, expect the excitement levels to only go off the roof!
