However, the recent innovation from Oppo seems to have shocked everyone in the industry. Oppo has officially showcased its first-ever Under-Screen Camera (USC) for the perfect solution to build full screen displays for smartphones. In a 15-second teaser video posted on Twitter, Oppo Mobiles unveiled the Under Screen Camera.
This is essentially a single selfie camera module that is built right into the display on the uppermost part of the panel, below the earpiece. However, Oppo in the video claims that the selfie camera will sport a proper module hidden below the display panel.
This solution aims at delivering a truly bezel-free display to customers, without having to compromise with movable hardware parts or display notches.
