PUBG 6-hour daily limit in India was a 'bug', company apologises

by KF Team

The last few weeks have been a disaster for PUBG Mobile in India considering the amount of controversies it has been surrounded by.

One of these was a new Healthy Gameplay mode that some users spotted would limit the gameplay time to just 6 hours each day. However, the company has now clarified that the addition of this feature was an "error" which has now been rectified.

In a tweet on Sunday, PUBG Mobile India clarified that they have changed the Birthday Crate. "The Healthy Gameplay System error has also been fixed, and you should be able to play uninterrupted. Lastly, payment systems are back up and running. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience!" the tweet said.

With this statement, the company has pushed aside rumours that it is working on a daily time limit after the game was banned in Gujarat and certain universities in India. PUBG Mobile is said to be working with authorities to come to a compromise in terms of availability of the game for Indian fans.
