PUBG or PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has been all the rage in India ever since Tencent Games released it last year.

Tencent Games, the Chinese developer behind PUBG Mobile, has announced PUBG Mobile India Series 2019 - India's biggest ever PUBG gaming competition - with a prize pool that totals 1 crore rupees!
Registrations for the competition will be open between January 9-23, and the PUBG Mobile India Series 2019 first round will be held between January 21-27. To be eligible for it, you need to have a squad of four players, each one of them placed above Level 20 in the mobile battle royale multiplayer game.
The online playoffs follow, from February 10 to February 24, further filtering out the number of squads to just the top 20. As for prize money, the winning teams takes home a cool Rs. 30 lakhs, followed by Rs. 10 lakhs for the team that comes second, and Rs. 5 lakhs for the bronze medalists.
This amount goes down to Rs. 2 lakh for the 4th position, Rs. 1.5 lakhs for the 5th position, Rs. 1 lakh for the 6th, Rs. 80,000 for the 7th, and Rs. 70,000 for the 8th. All teams ranked 9th to 20th get a common amount of Rs. 50,000 per team.
There are also some additional cash prizes for MVPs, Exterminators, Healers, Redeemers, Lone Rangers, and Rampage Freaks. Players with the highest kills get Oppo phones from the sponsor of the tournament.
