Xiaomi has unveiled its two latest offerings in the Redmi range of smartphones, and they offer superb value for money. The Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro have been launched at an event in China. While the Redmi K20 is a mid-range phone with a Snapdragon 730 chipset, the Redmi K20 Pro offers a Snapdragon 855 processor at an affordable price point.
As for pricing, the Redmi K20 starts at CNY 1,999 or about Rs 20,000 for the base variant with 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model and goes up to CNY 2,099 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. On the other hand, the Redmi K20 Pro is priced at about Rs 25,200 for the 6GB RAM/64GB storage model and around Rs 26,500 for the one with 128GB storage.
As for features, the Redmi K20 Pro packs in a lot for its price tag. It is a natural progression to the Poco F1 launched last year. The phone has a 7th Gen in-display fingerprint sensor, a 6.39-inch AMOLED panel, a Snapdragon 855 processor, Game Turbo 2.0 mode, and Android 9.0 Pie. The phone has a triple rear camera setup, with a 48MP primary sensor, a 13MP secondary sensor, and a third 8MP sensor.
The Redmi K20, on the other hand, packs in an octa-core Snapdragon 730 processor, an in-display fingerprint sensor, a triple camera setup, Android Pie, and a large 4000mAh battery cell.
