Detroit Auto Show was majorly full of production and commercial cars.
But the Kia Stinger happens to have stolen the show. A rear-wheel sports sedan, the Stinger, is an outlying target towards the likes of the BMW 4 Series to show some Asian power in the sports segment.
Kia is banking on infusing all the jazz to its more conventional product lineup. And it wants the US market to know its here to stay.
With a massive 3.3 litre V6 engine beneath the hood and clocking 0-60 in just 5.1 seconds, the Stinger doesn't compromise on one thing, and that is performance.
The Stinger is definitely something people wouldn't have expected from Kia, a brand that makes box-like cars that drive well on city roads.
Coming in a few months, this car will be available in most international markets at a price that is currently unknown to most.
