Xiaomi just dropped its most exciting smartphone for 2019.
The Redmi Note 7, the first phone from independent brand Redmi, has been launched in China and it offers some crazy specifications at a price that starts at roughly around Rs. 10,000.
That's right, the Redmi Note 7 is the company's first smartphone to sport a 48-megapixel main rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and 0.8 micron pixels! There's an additional 5-megapixel secondary shooter for depth shots.
This phone's not just about camera prowess. It is powered by the premium Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, which is one of the best in the mid-range segment. And, there's a decently large 4,000mAh battery under the hood, keeping things running for more than a day.
We don't stop there. The phone sports a massive 6.3-inch full-HD panel with a waterdrop notch. 18W fast charging is made possible by the USB Type-C port. And, this phone retains basics like an IR blaster and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The pricing is where it gets really exciting, though. The base model, with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, is priced at an astonishingly low price of CNY 999 or about Rs. 10,300. There is a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant at CNY 1,199 (around Rs. 12,400) and a top-of-the-line 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model for CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs. 14,500).
Xiaomi skipped from the Redmi Note 5 right to the Redmi Note 7, at least in China, and the substantial upgrades explain it all. There's no word on an India launch, but rest assured Killer Features will keep you updated on the latest news around this phone and all of the other good ones.
